Happiness is a feeling that stems from the depths of human emotion. That is, it is not related to money or fame. Instead, true happiness is linked to love and the ability to live in peace, the ability to look at life’s circumstances positively, and constantly striving for self-development and success. Happiness is the ultimate destination for every societal activity, whether political, social, or economic, all of which ultimately aim at well-being and happiness for people. We celebrate Happiness Happens Month. Although it comes in a different global atmosphere amid fears of Coronavirus and the isolation of people in their homes, the attempts for happiness must remain continuous. Therefore we present proposals to spread happiness while you are at home.
Send a message to someone who influenced your life.
Sometimes we feel like expressing gratitude towards someone who has influenced our lives positively, supported us in difficult situations, or gave us a chance to work and succeed. The reasons may vary, but our constant feeling of gratitude remains towards them, so it’s time to say “thank you” to this person, the word “thank you” may be a source of great happiness for him, but it will undoubtedly be a source of joy for you as well.
Donate to a charitable organization on behalf of the person who makes you the happiest in your life
For the person in your life interested in making you happy and taking care of all the details that delight you, donate to a charitable organization in their name. Pick a charity essential or meaningful to them. Do something nice for the person in your life who takes care of you.
Gather with your friends on a video call for cocktails or coffee hour
If you can’t find time to visit your friends, or you feel bored at home, schedule a regular virtual meeting. My favorite is a cocktail hour, but a coffee hour or book club works just as well. Spending time with friends will make you happy, so meet with them on a video call. Check on each other or talk about your day, and perhaps share some funny memories.
Make your family the food they love
They say food is the way to one’s heart, but food will also give you comfort and make you happy. Cooking the food itself may be happiness for some, but eating a special meal together will give happiness to all who share it, so try to spread happiness today in the hearts of your family by preparing a delicious meal.
Every chocolate raises the hormone of happiness.
Everyone loves chocolate. A piece of chocolate helps raise Dopamine or the happiness hormone in the body. It is simple yet very effective. In moderation, eating a piece of chocolate a day will not affect your health.
Do a hobby that you love.
Doing a hobby you love brings happiness and gives you a sense of satisfaction and self-fulfillment. If you do not have a hobby, try to find an interest you think you will enjoy doing and try it. Because a hobby that you love gives you a sense of confidence and may even teach you something new.
Break your routine
Do not make your life routine and monotonous. Try to experience something new with each new day. Expand your horizons visit someplace new, read a new book, or try to cook a new dish. Stay safe, maintain social distancing, and spice it up a bit.
Get enough sleep
A good night’s sleep affects your performance and mood during the day. You won’t be happy about anything without it. A lack of sleep for one night may slow down your activity and make your brain work slower than usual, and put you in a grumpy mood. So you should get an average of 7-9 hours of continuous sleep.
Meditate, look around, and be grateful
The world is a beautiful place. It doesn’t matter how busy you are; hit the pause button during your day and learn to enjoy the little things in your life and be grateful. Only once you appreciate what you have and slow it down can you feel truly thankful.
Appreciate life! Do not forget that life is a collection of memories. If you spend most of your time pursuing future happiness, you will miss the pleasure around you. Missing out on the present moment you live in. Instead, use Happiness Happens month to improve your life and give you a feeling of happiness and gratitude.
